Was strictly searching for Nintendo 64 goodies~ย
I went to two different retro video game stores and I am a returning customer of those stores. The first store I went to, GameRave, had the Green Nintendo 64 that I had my eye on for almost a month and was lucky enough to buy it before anyone else did.
The Green Nintendo 64 in the store came with the controller and all of the cords and paks all for the hefty price of $219, which is not bad, considering that the owner of GameRave cleans and replaces any bad parts inside all of his consoles. At that price, it was worth the buy~
Next, I went to another store calledย Calico Games and I bought some Nintendo 64 games.
I got Rampage in the box with the cartridge and manuals. I also got Perfect Dark, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, and Castlevania, which were definitely my childhood favorites. Each of these games came out to $5-$10, except the boxed Rampage which was $20.
Have you guys played any of these games in your childhood? What do you think of the prices at a retro video game shop?
Let me know in the comments~ ๐
