I’m so happy that No Man’s Sky is improving! It’s been a year and Hello Games have had so many new things in store for us.
If you own the game, No Man’s Sky and haven’t touched it in a year, there is going to be a new update that will include limited online co-op via joint exploration. This update 1.3 “Atlas Rises” will also include new ships and new worlds, according to Hello Games, along with updated combat, a new alien race, portals, a trading system, a new story with at least 30 hours of content, and some visual improvements.
“This update marks the one year anniversary of No Man’s Sky, and a lot has changed,” said Hello Games. “This is the next step on our journey.”
“While interaction with others is currently very limited, this is an important first step into the world of synchronous co-op in No Man’s Sky,” said Hello Games.
Here are some screenshots of the improvements and additions and maybe this will give you some hope for No Man’s Sky.
“Atlas Rises” will include a form of limited online co-op. If you see glowing orbs floating near you, in the area, that means that other people are there. You can communicate with other people online using voice chat and it sounds like there isn’t much to do besides exploring the planet with other people at the moment. No Man’s Sky currently supports as many as 16 players. Hopefully, there will be a multiplayer mode where you can see the other person in some way or at least help each other with exploring and fighting.
This is a huge update for No Man’s Sky after a whole year and I hope that it will keep improving and getting better for the months and years to come.
How do you feel about the new update for No Man’s Sky?
