Video Games Old but Gold #18: Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness

I cried looking at the cover. I have tons of memories with this game.

Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness is one of my favorite PlayStation 2 games, even until this day. I fell in love with this game as soon as I finished it a long time ago. I got stuck in this game so many times and I always put it off because I was scared or it was hard but I finished it and I was happy.

Guys, I’m literally crying as I’m typing, I’m serious.

This was an amazing story and just a truly amazing game in general. Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness released in June 2003 and I turned 8 years old that year in August so my father got this for me for my birthday. I didn’t own my own PlayStation 2 as it was my father’s at the time since I was still young.

But this game was the best. I loved chilling with my father late at night, eating popcorn and playing this while he helped me out every now and then. Those were really good times indeed. I miss it. I still have the game back in the United States.

Have you guys played Angel of Darkness?
