Video Games Old but Gold #16: Clock Tower

Are you ready for the Scissorman?

Clock Tower is a survival horror, point and click adventure game, developed and published by Human Entertainment, released for the Super Nintendo in 1995. This game has 2D graphics and you control the cursor to move the main character around the haunted-looking mansion so you can run, investigate items, and open doors.

The threat of this game is the Scissorman, which to me is basically a little boy with hedge shears. I always picked on the Scissorman when I was younger because he was shorter than a girl.

Clock Tower was my father’s favorite horror game and I was born in 1995 so he had me play it when I got a bit older and my father has many video games that he loves, but he let me play his favorites. He introduced me to the older consoles like the SNES and the Famicom and for that, I am grateful.

Have you guys played Clock Tower for the SNES?
