Video Games Old but Gold #13: Pokémon Snap

This used to be a favorite back in the day. My brother and I were OBSESSED with Pokémon when it first came out.Pokémon Snap, published by Nintendo, released for the Nintendo 64 in 1999 is a 3D spin-off Pokémon game. This is a 1st person rail-shooter but with a camera and you play as the photographer, Todd, taking photos for Professor Oak’s research and riding in the ZERO-ONE, traveling around Pokemon island.

Jesus, Charizard and I used to think Meowth was terrifying and he’s one of my favorite Pokémon. I used to love throwing Pokémon food and just seeing the Pokémon swarm around the food as I took photos and using the Poke Flute to wake up a Snorlax.

I also vaguely remember the Sticker Stations when Blockbuster was a thing and my brother and I would take photos of Pokémon from the game and take it to the Sticker Station to print them out. It used to be so cool.

Taking photos of the legendary and rare Pokémon were awesome! My brother and I would get super excited seeing a Dragonite or even a Pikachu riding a Articuno and we would quickly take a photo and take it to the Sticker Station at Blockbuster then literally put the stickers everywhere in our room.

Such nostalgia~

Do you guys remember Pokémon Snap or even the Sticker Stations at Blockbuster?
