Video Games Old but Gold #8: The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap

A classic Game Boy Advance game, well for me. I actually have the game with me right now.

The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap was something that I was interested in only because Link has a bird on his hat, which is what I thought when I was younger and I thought it would be so cool to play it.

Look at those beautiful pixels~

The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap starts off with the King of Hyrule choosing Link to deal with Vaati for destroying the Picori Blade and turning Princess Zelda into stone. While Link is out on his adventure, he saves Ezlo, the hat with a bird head, and he helps Link with his journey to find the four elemental stones to restore the Picori Blade and defeat Vaati.

Really interesting, plus the story also goes with the Four Swords story as well.

Have you guys played this game?

  1. Minish Cap is one of my favorite Zeldas out there! I only played this one recently even though I’ve been playing Zelda games since the mid-90s, but it definitely remains one of my top handheld games in the series. The graphical style and the music from games in the Gameboy Advance era were perfect in my opinion, and I must not be alone because we’ve been seeing that 16-bit resurgence more and more the past couple years, particularly in indie titles!
