Thrift Shop Goodies #3

Hello, friends and I am back with some more thrift shop finds.

I got 4 PlayStation 2 games for $2 each from a book store out in Japan and they had a discount bin full of video games so now I will share with you what I got~

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory

I remembered what this game was because of the cover but my father loves the Splinter Cell series and he’s more interested in the stealthy games like this and Metal Gear Solid. I’ve played this before but it was so long ago so I don’t remember too much about it but this was one of my father’s favorites.

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty

Now, this is the first game I’ve ever played in my entire life and as soon as I saw the cover, I started crying because this is the game that started it all. This game is the reason why I love video games. I started playing video games around 3 years old and yes this is a rated M game and very difficult for my age but this is what got me to love video games in the first place.

Kingdom Hearts

This game is a total gem and I remember playing this with my little brother a long, long time ago. I miss this game so much. My brother and I always thought this game was cool because you get to play with the Disney characters.

Final Fantasy X-2 (International + Last Mission)

Final Fantasy is my favorite in general and I know this one cuts the cake. This one comes with the International and a last mission.

Since I have a Japanese PlayStation 2, I can play all of these games on it but it’s region-locked so I can’t play an English/American game or any other games from a different country. Usually when I play a Japanese game, I always pull up an English script or a translated version of the game so I can get a better understanding and I would love to play Kingdom Hearts and Metal Gear Solid 2 again.

Have you guys ever played any of these games?
